The objective of the research project unit is to introduce undergraduate students how to carry out individual research in a discipline relating to area of study. You will learn experimental designs, research techniques, data analysis and critical literature review. The research skills you gain will assist you to decide whether you will continue your passion to research degree or straight to the workplace.

The SCI3990 Science in action research project is offered every semesters (Semester 1, 2 and Summer). The contact hours are approximately 12 hours per week. You must maintain regular contact with your supervisor and unit coordinator.

Research project titles available for Semester 1, 2017 

To enrol in SCI3990 Science in action research project, you need written permission from Supervisor and Unit Coordinator. You can check your eligibility from the Unit Handbook or come personally to Science Course Management Office (Building 4, Level 8). Collect the "Permission to enrol in a Science Research Project/Special Topics Unit" form and the Enrolment Amendment Form from the Science Course Management Office.
